Little.

I love the "little things" in life. The times that look suspiciously like all the rest. Those moments you would not normally think to give a second glance, until you pass by them at just the right angle, and - like a glimmer of light - they catch your eye at the last second.

Things like...
Pressing "submit" on the semester's biggest project.
A friend who: knowing you're sick and probably contagious, still chooses to hug you anyway. (Thank you, Jessica Myers.)
Car rides with friends - and the laughter that happens along the way.
Lunch that involves good people, merriment, and sharing of life.
Festive, cheery Christmas songs.
Being sick for five days straight, and waking up feeling significantly better on the sixth.
Shakespeare sonnets.
Knowing that in a little over a week, all this scrambling-to-get-homework-done-while-still-maintaining-sanity-and-relationships will be over, if only for a little while.
People who live close to their hearts.

Christ's promise of tomorrow.

"The little things? The little moments? They aren't little."
~ Jon Kabat-Zinn

This holiday season, I want to encourage you... take time to breath, look, and really see
All around you, there are moments waiting to be had. Don't miss out.

Without wax,
Sarah.
