Engagement: Christopher & Katie
August 02, 2009.
Someone once said, "Friendship isn't a big thing - it's a million things." Love is sort of the same way. (Most likely because most love stories begin as friendship stories.)
Love is a big thing, comprised of a million little things.
Love is in the way they look at each other. The way he lifts her and twirls her in a circle. Love is in the funny faces, the shared laughs, the secret smiles. Love is in the way he hugs her, "just because." The way they fit; the way he looks at her like he's a little boy who just found treasure in his backyard.
Love is the way they naturally gravitate toward each other. The way she fixes his tie, and uses it as an excuse to be close to him. He doesn't have to look to grab her hand - he just knows where it is.
And. Love is in the way they keep Christ at the center of their lives and relationship. Thank you, friends, for the lesson.

The following is a small selection of the 1000+ pictures I took of Christopher and Katie that day.
Without wax,
